Learning and development is a passion for her. Having trained new CCMA commissioners, shop stewards, managers and employees, she has gained and imparted invaluable knowledge and experience across the employment spectrum. Through the years of training and facilitation exposure on the various disciplines of labour law, she has developed excellent conflict management facilitation skills.
Shaam has developed several training manuals for soft skills and labour law. Her excellent communication skills, allows her to tailor make manuals to suit the various interest groups. Her content development extends to the drafting of customised labour law manuals and policies and procedures.
Human resources and employee relations, is a derivative strength and she successfully manages this function for private clients. Shaam has worked with the following organisations :

She has also expanded her mediation, facilitation and arbitration experience to include coaching having obtained a Masters in Management in the Field of Business Executive Coaching at Wits Business School. Her coaching clients have included professionals in the legal, NGO and corporate environments. She has also mentored young women professionals entering the workplace, as well as mentoring newly appointed commissioners at the CCMA.
